I hate the new Metacritic. I hate it like I hate non-news on Kotaku. It’s just a flashy stupid waste of time and skill. Almost as stupid as free sites charging for an iPhone app of their content. Begs the question if someone there actually thought their non-mobile-friendly and otherwise ugly old design was somehow made better by full page take overs with superbanners and overlays....

I miss palm springs. so nice to be ‘away’ even though ps is not my all time fav vacation spot.
our new dog (peter) has nightmares. there’s barking going on around 3 or 4 AM and when I walk to his crate I see him completely asleep.

I’m officially over rhythm games. I stopped buying Rock Band DLC and I don’t know anyone else in my circle who still shops weekly. That said, there’s a new Guitar Hero game. This time, it’s #5. The rumor I’d heard was that it would become the XP competitor on touch handheld tablets like the new Archos sku. All that unconfirmed of course.
watched MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D on a crt and a hd tv and I have to say the crt was just plain broken. The 3d doesn’t work at all on crt.
