puppy pains
New puppy whines. Whines like a freaking motor. Never ceases. I’m secretly hoping he tires and falls over. Still he whines. No such hope for me. It’s 11:30 PM.

Cliqset Dev Challenge
I got this in my Inbox. I’m sure with all the iPhone dev’s I’ve met, one of them might be up for this. Seems like a way to virally market Cliqset but who cares.
Here’s the details———
Are you a software developer? Do you know one? If the answer’s yes, Cliqset is giving you a chance to win your share of $30,000 in cash!

sorting through #EAA ‘s Wine & Wisdom video footage I shot. Not sure what to do with it. Should get to sleep but excited! Must sleep.

Robot Programmed to Love Goes too Far →
I love this story. Seems this robot was basically a love struck teenager. Long long time ago I had a date that refused to leave my apartment even after I asked nicely (and not so nicely). Maybe he was a robot.
#EAA’s Wine and Wisdom is down to 6 or so VIP tickets and then we’re SOLD OUT. I dont want to do it but we have to turn people away.

HomoPop | Gay movie reviews, news, and pop culture →
Essentially a front to push product on tlavideo.com, homopop seems to fill an otherwise crowded gay blog market.
If they can keep up with the demand for content and opinon, I’ll be the first to pat them on the back. Still it’s hard not to feel like indie studios/online stores should have been getting into the content/editorial business ages ago when Amazon clearly excelled at moving...

Epic Fail.
The whole gaming is rash exposure to violence at early formative years and my kid will become a psychotic killer/rapist slippery slope is getting old. Really old. Speaking of really old, the average gamer (person who buys and plays games) is in their mid-30s. Who else would spend money on something called Guitar Hero Van Halen? A 15 year old?

Interesting. The whole idea of privacy on social networks is such a ridiculous expectation. I’m not surprised Facebook has loose ethics at all. Linkedin, the Facebook of marketers/people looking for a job, wants to charge you to email people you know and their friends. The sad part is that brand managers can’t grow communities like this around their brands and need to plant those...
Entertainment AIDS Alliance ::: Raising Awareness... →
Join me tomorrow at Wine and Wisdom. It’s one of the events that the EAA (Entertainment Aids Alliance) puts on and I’m one of the volunteers that make this happen. My life was changed when I lost a dozen friends to HIV/AIDS and I believe in EAA’s mission to help people and organizations in need/who can make a difference.

Why pay for it when you can get it for FREE on Twitter?
My favorite part of this article: ”If you walk into a department store, you know the (sales) clerk is a clerk,” said Rich Cleland, assistant director in the FTC’s division of advertising practices. “Online, if you think that somebody is providing you with independent advice and … they have an economic motive for...
Paramount’s Summer Turns on a Key Producer -... →
With all the craziness surrounding Paramount’s leadership changes and now ‘Imagine That’ underperforming (as expected), there’s also the HUGE Summer titles to consider. No matter how you look at it, Transformers, GI Joe, & Star Trek are the BIGGEST titles of the Summer. Lorenzo is the man behind two of them. Interesting.

Is ANYONE surprised? First this puppy up with the new PSPgo and I’m in on the Tuesday it launches. $250 is nothing so long as the library is there to sustain what is essentially a new way to play old games that I otherwise missed.
I still think the PSPgo is essentially a handheld way to cash in on catalog the way the new gen of consoles have cashed in on Genesis and N64 libraries.

Checking out a blog my friend Joveth is working on called Games Plus Blog.
First Impressions: I love the buckets on top (design).
The whole gaming blog sphere seems like the social networking world or the search world. People find a new favorite every so often and unless its tied to something bigger, the sites seem to prey on each other’s content or content from other sources.
